Project Pan: Third Product Completed: Lush Alkmaar Bath Soap

This morning I completed my third product, which was the Lush Alkmaar Bath Soap. Now, I didn't completely think this through, so please forgive me, I have no picture to prove it's done. Here's a picture of Lush's website.

This was a great soap. I felt clean and yet moisturized, which is uncommon for me to find. I don't like anything overly moisturizing because then I don't feel clean. My only issue with this soap was the scent. It was just OKAY. I will purchase another Lush bath soap, but not in this scent.

As you will notice on the right hand side of my blog, I had posted a poll asking everyone "WHAT'S ONE MAKE-UP PRODUCT THAT YOU HAVE WAY TOO MUCH OF?".

The win by far, with a total of 60%, was Eyeshadow. Like you, I too have so much eyeshadow (palettes, singles, quads, etc.) that I will NEVER be able to go through them all. There are so many different colours and finishes that I never feel like I have just the right shade. Lately I've had a thing for golds. My favourite gold is the Stila eyeshadow in Sparkle, which is currently being phased out.

I'm very upset that this colour is going because I find it looks good on almost anyone. It's great alone, with a a neutral colour like a chocolate brown, or even with a pop of colour like forest green or plum. It's just a fantastic colour for the holidays.

Project Pan: Second Product Completed: Mac Brush Cleaner

I just finished unpacking from a much needed little get-away including some wine tours. As such I started to clean my brushes and low and behold I finished my Mac Brush Cleaner. I don't understand all the ranting and raving behind this products because I found that I had to still clean my brushes afterward.

I will not be repurchasing this product as I find that baby shampoo works a ton better. I will however keep the bottle for Back 2 Mac.

Project Pan: First Product Completed: Clarins Extra-Firming Foundation with SPF 15

Good morning everyone, today I finished a foundation. The foundation I finished was the Clarins Extra-Firming Foundation with SPF 15. This is product was fantastic. It was light weight, had medium coverage, and was oil-free. It was the perfect shade, and blended well with my skin.

I will definitely repurchase this foundation once I have finished my others. This product lasted me quite a while because I only needed 2 pumps for a "full coverage" look. This was a great buy.

Project Pan #2

It's Friday! I have decided to embark on a second Project Pan, but this time it will be a Project 20 Pan. I still have a lot of products I need to work through in order to significantly reduce the size of my collection. This one will prove to be a bit more tricky as it is the holiday season and there are sooo many cute things.

De-cluttering the Stash

Since my Project 10 Pan finished a few days ago, I wasn't sure what to do next. I still have items I never use and I still need to save money. I decided that step number one was to organize. As I was organizing however, I noticed that I had a lot of products that had gone bad, were broken, didn't react well with my skin, etc. I threw out a ton of stuff that was just plain dumb to keep. A majority of items I've given to friends and family, while others I've decided to work through. PinkSoFoxy on YouTube inspired me to go one step further and donate unused/ unopened items to a woman's shelter. This is the perfect time of year to donate cosmetics. I've also included some gently used clothing, etc., but for the purposes of this blog I will only show the beauty related items. In my next post I will go through the rest of my items and see from whatever is left what I can give to family and friends (products that are gently used).
