Here's the post:
Making Your Perfume Last Longer.
There’s nothing worse than spritzing yourself with perfume in the morning only for it to be gone by noon. Here are some tips to keep your favourite scent on you without it being over-bearing.- Layer Your Fragrance! Is there a matching shower gel and body lotion for your favourite perfume? Use them. This way not only is your fragrance not being mixed with any other scent, it is giving it layers. Sometimes perfume doesn’t come with a matching set. No worries! Try and find products that have similar notes. For example, if you favourite fragrance is Jessica Simpson’s Fancy Love, try a vanilla body wash and moisturizer.
- Find the Hot Spots! The scent of perfume on your skin is activated by warmth. Because of this you want to apply your fragrance where your veins are most visible. These places include your:
- Neck
- Bust
- Inner elbow
- Inner knee
- And wrists
- Bring Back-Up! Make sure to carry an atomizer with you that is filled with your scent. Touch up through-out the day when you find the scent is fading.
What perfume are you planning on wearing on Valentine’s Day?
I think I’m going to go with my favourite- Chanel Chance Eau Tendre.
Thanks for the post :) I love the body lotion of my perfume (DKNY red apple) but alwasy forget to use it! :) www.cherrytruth2.blogspot.co.uk xx

I love this post because this really is always a problem with me! I love when perfumes come in the sets with the lotions and body washes but I hate how small they normally are! I always run out of the lotion long before my perfume :(
ReplyDeleteSame here. I always want to repurchase the body lotion and wash. Try finding something with similiar undertones.
DeleteThank you. Nice information.
ReplyDeleteOn valentine day i' going to use giorgio armani essenza
Great scent!
DeleteThanks for the tips...
ReplyDeletelayering is really a good way to make the scent last longer.
Definitely is!
DeleteNice information, very usefull) When I was a little girl I remember my mom was using some perfumes and I could hear their smells even 2 or 3 days after spray them on something. I dont know what had happen to all perfumes, but now I can't find any perfumes which can produce same effect)
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous time!
Best wishes, Alexandra

They were probably perfume oils. Those tend to last longer on the body but expire quicker.
DeleteCool tips :)

DeleteLayering with a comparable or indentical lotion does defintely help! That's my little go-to trick, too. When I was younger I would always spritz my clothes with the perfume, but then I realized that wasn't good for those delicate or special fabric pieces. My favorite "hot-spots" are my wrist, behind my ears, and behind my neck.
ReplyDeleteAnywhere warm!
DeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the ideas. Sorry to say , but I am really lazy to put some fragrance on :P

the layering fragrance is a really good idea, usually when I get perfume sets I put the lotion away and just use my everyday stuff but it makes sense to use them both together. I only ever carry body spray which lasts all of five minutes lol, I want one of those little Travelo bottles for bringing perfume out with me x
ReplyDeleteThey're only about $10 and they save a ton of heartache...slight exaggeration I know :)
Deletei have the chanel chance perfume and i absolutely love it :)
